The artwork is the same kind of painted scene — a bright full moon, grinning jack-o'-lanterns glowing on the porch, dark woods in silhouette — with your dog or cat painted into the middle of it from your photo. Instead of going on canvas, the finished painting is printed edge to edge on a plush fleece throw. One side carries the full-colour scene; the reverse is plain white fleece. It is the piece of Halloween decor you can actually use: on the sofa for October movie nights, over the back of a chair by the front door, or folded at the foot of a bed.

Blanket, not canvas: what that changes

Three practical differences from the portrait. First, scale: even the smallest blanket, 30" x 40", matches our largest canvas size, and the 60" x 80" is four times that area, so your pet's face ends up large. Second, surface: the same painting is printed on plush fleece rather than stretched canvas, so it reads as soft colour you can wrap up in rather than a flat, hard image. Third, use: a blanket gets washed, sat on and dragged around, so the print is single-sided, high-definition and fade-resistant, and the inks are non-toxic and skin-safe.

Photo tips for a blanket

Because the face will be printed large, send the highest-resolution photo you have — the original from the phone rather than a screenshot or a social-media download. A photo with the pet sitting or standing in full view is better than a tight face crop, since the Halloween scene shows most of the body.
